This is an online space for those who must walk away from Omelas (Modern Techno-Industrial society, the World Socioeconomic-Political System) to interconnect. Those who walk away to a mountain top or cabin in the woods may not have internet access. Those who do, for a time, may connect here. Messages can be posted, documents and graphics shared, chats can be chatted, databases maintained, wiki-information shared, but walking away is not a recreational pastime or entertainment. You do not have all the time in the world. Be diligent. Auto-organize. Subgroups can be created (closed to members only or open to public).
